DIAGORAS USER APP DESCRIPTION
User registration and login
The first time the user enters the application and before gaining the ability to use the functions it offers, the user is asked to register in the Diagoras application . The user is asked to fill in a form with specific fields, as shown in Figure 1. After completing and submitting the form, the user receives a four-digit code on their mobile phone to confirm that the mobile phone number declared by the user is true.
After registration, the user has access to the functions of the Diagoras application . By default, when the user closes the app and tries to sign in again they don’t need to enter credentials. Nevertheless, the user has the option to log out if he wishes. In this case, when he tries to log in again he is asked for credentials, namely the e – mail he entered during registration and the password (see Figure 2)
2.2 Home screen
Having logged into the application, the user sees a map of the city, on which the real-time location of the user is shown, as well as the locations of mobility hubs , chargers and available shared vehicles (see Figure 3). Also, on the home screen there is a suitable filter, so that the user can choose specific categories of vehicles to be displayed on the map.
On the initial screen there is an additional option, which concerns a brief description of the functions offered by the Diagoras application . This brief description, presented in Figure 4, is particularly important for new users of the system, who probably have no prior experience of using MaaS systems or shared mobility systems in general.
Through the top bar that is permanently present in all the functions of the application (and on the home screen), the main menu of the application is accessible . More specifically, by selecting the option with the three horizontal lines, the user sees the various possibilities available through the Diagoras application , as shown in Figure 5.
2. 3 User Profile
The user’s profile can also be accessed from the bar at the top of the application . Through the profile tab, the user can initially see the information he has declared and his balance, as shown in Figure 6. He can also proceed to purchase a subscription or credit an amount, as well as recover his personal QR code . In addition, he has the ability to change the information he filled in during the application, but also to delete it touch from the Diagoras system.
From the tab concerning the user’s profile, the certification of possession of a driver’s license and student status is also done. As shown in Figure 7, these two certifications require the posting of appropriate photos, which are checked and confirmed by the system administrator. Their confirmation means that in the first case the user will be able to use a shared car and in the second case he will have access to a more favorable pricing policy.
2. 4 Vehicle rental
As already pointed out, the user through the application can rent a shared car, bicycle, as well as use a car charger. Renting any of the above vehicles and using a charger can be done through two alternatives. In the first case, the user selects the desired vehicle from the home screen map and selects rental. Through these steps, and with the help of Bluetooth technology that recognizes if the user is really next to the vehicle, the vehicle is unlocked and the rental begins. It is noted that by selecting the vehicle from the map, the user, in addition to the possibility of renting, can also see information on the state of charge of the vehicle, the estimated autonomy, but also the cost of use. The second alternative for unlocking a vehicle and starting a rental is through the “Scan QR Code” option which is also on the home screen. Through this option, the camera of the user’s mobile phone is activated, so that the QR code corresponding to the respective vehicle or charger can be read.

2.6 Financial Transactions
Diagoras app , users can pay for the use of various mobility services. In order for the user to be fully aware of the pricing policy of the system, there is a special relevant section in the application. This section is of particular importance, as the integration of multiple mobility services into a single application may create confusion for users in terms of costs. As shown in Figure 9, the information provided concerns on the one hand the different subscription packages, and on the other hand the different usage costs per subscription package.

To process the transactions, whether they concern the purchase of a subscription package or the crediting of an amount, the user is transferred to a secure environment for financial transactions. As shown in Figure 10, the successful completion of the transaction requires the correct entry of credit or debit card information.
2. 8 Rent in progress
While a rental is in progress, useful information is displayed to the user. More specifically, the user can see the duration of the rental that is in progress, as well as the cost up to this point in time. Also, as shown in Figure 11, the user, if desired, can temporarily lock the shared vehicle without terminating the rental and unlock it again to continue his journey.
2.9 Rental History
Through the application the user also has access to a file of his rentals. Each completed rental is recorded in the rental history and accompanied by relevant information (see Figure 12). The information concerns the day and time of start and end, the duration of the route, the kilometers traveled and the corresponding cost. Also, if the user after the termination of the rental evaluated the route he took, this evaluation is also presented in the history of the rentals.
